His journey
The Mori family, formerly known as Terami, is one of the six officially recognized Bizen ceramic families from the Edo period.
Taiga trained with Gyokusyu Kimura, a ceramist renowned for his Bizen work, before taking over his grandfather's noborigama kiln in 2000.
He held his first solo exhibition in Tokyo in 2001.
Since then, his work has taken him to numerous countries, including France, England, the United States, Costa Rica, and Taiwan. There, he exhibits, teaches, builds kilns, and participates in artistic residencies.
In Bizen, his studio also welcomes students from all over the world.
